Our dedicated staff of educators are available when you need us.

Our History

Lawrenceville Presbyterian Co-operative Nursery School was started in 1961 by members of the Presbyterian Church of Lawrenceville. These members saw a need in the community for their children to be in a nurturing and faith-filled environment. They also wanted to do something different that would allow parents to be involved and grow with their children during their nursery school years.

We continue to offer an environment that involves families intimately in this first educational experience for their children. For over fifty years, our cooperative approach has been a unique feature of the school, and that close community connection has also fostered deep historical ties within the Lawrenceville community.

PCOL has generously partnered with the school to carry out this mission. In 2013, the church took on a wider leadership role, establishing an Executive Board of church members to oversee the operation of the nursery school. The name was changed to Lawrenceville Presbyterian Preschool.

We thrive as a school that supports ALL families. While we were founded by members of the church, we have always been a welcoming community and supportive of all faiths and cultural backgrounds.
